Bethesda announced that Wolfenstein: The New Order, The Evil
Within and Dishonored would all be getting their own art books. By way
of a partnership with Dark Horse Comics, Bethesda will be making the art
books possible, allowing gamers to get a behind the scenes look at what
went into each title. First up is The Art of Wolfenstein: The New
Order, MachineGames’ first person shooter title that gives players a
different timeline that was laid out in previous Wolfenstein titles.
Comic book stores will be able to see the art book first on May 14th,
and other retailers will be able to have it on May 27th. All together,
The Art of Wolfenstein: The New Order will be two hundred pages in total
and will have concept art, designer commentary, in-depth looks at
settings and technology, and a few other goodies.
As for The Art of The Evil Within that will be released in August
sometime, though no specific date has been given just yet. However,
Amazon has the art book listed and available on August 26th – the same
day The Evil Within releases. Finally, Dark Horse and Bethesda are
working on Dishonored: Dunwall Archives that is expected to hit shelves
in November. Each book will sell for $39.99.
